Tips To Get Your Ride Ready For Fall From Joe’s Car and Truck Repair!
The seasons are starting to change and that means it is time to get your ride ready for the changing season. This can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people. To make it easy below is a list of some easy tips to getting your vehicle ready for fall!
1. Check the Fluid Levels
Your vehicle has a lot of different fluids that keep it running in top shape. It is important that you keep all the fluids filled and in good condition! These include brake fluid, washer fluid, oil, coolant, and Transmission Fluid. Washer Fluid is important for visibility. All are very important to ensure that your car is running smoothly and at its best!2. Check the tires
Check the tread, inflation, and condition of your tires. Rotate your tires, so the wear is even and prolongs your tires life. Be sure that your tires are inflated to the correct level. This is very important in Fall, and Winter is that the cold air will make your tires lose air!3. Prepare for the cold weather
Getting stuck in the cold is one of the worst feelings in the world. You feel helpless, and alone when this happens. You will want to be prepared for anything that can happen and even more so in the snow, or cold. Be sure you have all or at least some of the below in your vehicle for the winter.- Gloves
- Ice Scraper
- Blanket
- First Aid Kit
- Jumper Cables
- Phone Charger
- Flashlight

What To Expect When Buying A Vehicle From McCloskey Motors!
Buying a vehicle is one of the largest purchases a person makes in a lifetime next to buying a house. With that said, it can be a scary process full of surprises. In this blog, we will take the surprise out of the car buying process! We are going to lay out the 5 steps to the car buying process here at McCloskey Motors!
1. The Greeting
The first step is just to say “Hello”. We are going to introduce ourselves and check you in your appointment and start building our friendship! Sometimes just saying hello can be the hardest part of starting the relationship with your salesperson; we take the scare out of meeting someone new!
2. Wants and Needs Evaluation
The next step is to find out what you need and what you want in your next vehicle. Whether it is Navigation, Heated Seats, or a Backup Camera knowing what you want is important to know what vehicle is the perfect one for you! Needs are always the most important part of picking your next vehicle. So we drill right down to the needs of your vehicle such as All Wheel Drive, 4×4, Third Row, or just an Engine we will figure out what you need to tie in the things you want!
3. Presentation
The presentation of the vehicle comes next. We will open all the doors, the hood, and the trunk so you can see all this vehicle has to offer! We will get in and play with some buttons make sure the seats and mirrors are at the right adjustment. And of course, show you all the awesome features this amazing vehicle has!
4. Demo Drive
After we have played with some features and made sure you fit and are comfortable in the vehicle, we will take it on a drive to see how it feels out on the road! This is one of the most important parts of the sale. No matter if you have driven 1,000 of the same vehicle, they all drive slightly different! So it is important that you drive the vehicle as you would on a normal day to be sure it feels the way you were hoping it would in your day to day life! There is no set route for this drive so we can go around the block or see how it feels on your commute to the house or office. Whatever it is to make sure you are thrilled about the way this vehicle handles on the road!
5. Close the deal
The final step to the process is to buy/sell the vehicle together. We will sit down and see what payment, price, or terms work for you and make the deal happen! Congrats To All Of Our April 2019 Award Winners!
It is that time of the month again when we reward the hard work of our team with our monthly awards ceremony! We would like to take the time to recognize some of our outstanding performers!
1. Cody Stovall- North Store Salesperson of the Month
Cody was awarded the Imports and 4×4’s Salesperson of the month for April 2019 with 11.5 cars sold! He earned this award because of his diligence, dedication, and commitment to his customers!
2. Patrick Spall- South Store Salesperson of the Month!
Next up we have Mr. Patrick Spall, who earned this amazing award for the 19th time! He was responsible for selling 21 cars. This was achieved through his amazing work ethic, attention to his guests, and the joy that this man gives off, which is nothing short of awesome!
3. Becca Lance – Top Producing BDR for the Month!
Becca Lance was named the Top Producing BDR for the month of April 2019. She was responsible for 83 appointments shown and 22 vehicles sold! Becca contributes her success to her hard work, determination, amazing work ethic, and people skills!
4. Lindsey Tyboroski- Service Star
Lindsey was responsible for setting 192 appointments for our service center! She has proven to be a great asset to the McCloskey Motors Family and our customers. With her years of experience, there is no better person to call for your automotive service needs than Lindsey! She is always willing to step in and help, and she is there any time that we need her!
5. Ben Elliot- Top Technician at Joes Car and Truck!
Next in the line-up is Ben Elliot! He actually earned two awards this month; he received The Top Producing Technician award and the Top Performing Technician for the month of April! Ben is a great tech and works very hard to ensure that he has identified the right solution for our customers!
6. Mike Lester- Outstanding Achievement!
Mike Lester is a newer addition to the team at Joe’s Car and Truck Repair, but in his very first month here he was able to reach just below Ben Elliot in productivity! This is a huge accomplishment and we felt like it needed to be recognized!
7. Drew McIllwain- Top Producing Tech All Make Service Center
Once again, Drew was awarded the Top Producer award! To be honest, we have lost count of how many times Drew has won this award! He is a very hard worker, and is dedicated to our customers and their vehicles’ well-being!

Vehicle Spotlight 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee!
Have you ever craved the excitement of a sports car with the capability of a Jeep? Well, in this short blog we are going to discuss a vehicle that can provide both and make you smile each time you hit the gas!
The Outside
This vehicle has the styling we know and love of the Grand Cherokee with a beefy upgrade from our friends on the SRT team. This immaculate vehicle offers a bigger front bumper and wider stance all placed on a set of beautiful 20 inch forged aluminum wheels! The vehicle also features a beautiful set of color-keyed grille, side sills, and rear spoiler to add the ferocious.
Under the hood
What some would call the best part of this incredible vehicle is the engine and power train! This vehicle features a muscular 6.4L HEMI V8 capable of producing a startling 470 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque! All that power and thrust is diverted to all four wheels via a beefed-up five-speed automatic transmission with a limited slip differential. To help this awesome vehicle come to a stop is a set of four Brembo Brakes! To make shifting on the fly easier the designers at Jeep added Paddle-shifters!
Creature Comforts
The most important part of any car is the creature comforts! Inside the beautiful SRT8 you will find a load of luxury options you may not expect on a high-performance vehicle. This vehicle has a panoramic moon roof, navigation, remote start, adaptive cruise control, and much more!
