The seasons are starting to change and that means it is time to get your ride ready for the changing season. This can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people. To make it easy below is a list of some easy tips to getting your vehicle ready for fall!
1. Check the Fluid Levels
Your vehicle has a lot of different fluids that keep it running in top shape. It is important that you keep all the fluids filled and in good condition! These include brake fluid, washer fluid, oil, coolant, and Transmission Fluid. Washer Fluid is important for visibility. All are very important to ensure that your car is running smoothly and at its best!
2. Check the tires
Check the tread, inflation, and condition of your tires. Rotate your tires, so the wear is even and prolongs your tires life. Be sure that your tires are inflated to the correct level. This is very important in Fall, and Winter is that the cold air will make your tires lose air!
3. Prepare for the cold weather
Getting stuck in the cold is one of the worst feelings in the world. You feel helpless, and alone when this happens. You will want to be prepared for anything that can happen and even more so in the snow, or cold. Be sure you have all or at least some of the below in your vehicle for the winter.
- Gloves
- Ice Scraper
- Blanket
- First Aid Kit
- Jumper Cables
- Phone Charger
- Flashlight
