Tips To Get Your Ride Ready For Fall From Joe’s Car and Truck Repair!
The seasons are starting to change and that means it is time to get your ride ready for the changing season. This can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people. To make it easy below is a list of some easy tips to getting your vehicle ready for fall!
1. Check the Fluid Levels
Your vehicle has a lot of different fluids that keep it running in top shape. It is important that you keep all the fluids filled and in good condition! These include brake fluid, washer fluid, oil, coolant, and Transmission Fluid. Washer Fluid is important for visibility. All are very important to ensure that your car is running smoothly and at its best!2. Check the tires
Check the tread, inflation, and condition of your tires. Rotate your tires, so the wear is even and prolongs your tires life. Be sure that your tires are inflated to the correct level. This is very important in Fall, and Winter is that the cold air will make your tires lose air!3. Prepare for the cold weather
Getting stuck in the cold is one of the worst feelings in the world. You feel helpless, and alone when this happens. You will want to be prepared for anything that can happen and even more so in the snow, or cold. Be sure you have all or at least some of the below in your vehicle for the winter.- Gloves
- Ice Scraper
- Blanket
- First Aid Kit
- Jumper Cables
- Phone Charger
- Flashlight
What To Expect When Buying A Vehicle From McCloskey Motors!
Buying a vehicle is one of the largest purchases a person makes in a lifetime next to buying a house. With that said, it can be a scary process full of surprises. The next step is to find out what you need and what you want in your next vehicle. Needs are always the most important part of picking your next vehicle. So we drill right down to the needs of your vehicle such as All Wheel Drive, 4×4, Third Row, or just an Engine we will figure out what you need to tie in the things you want!
3. Presentation
The presentation of the vehicle comes next. We will open all the doors, the hood, and the trunk so you can see all this vehicle has to offer! We will get in and play with some buttons make sure the seats and mirrors are at the right adjustment. And of course, show you all the awesome features this amazing vehicle has!
4. Demo Drive
After we have played with some features and made sure you fit and are comfortable in the vehicle, we will take it on a drive to see how it feels out on the road! This is one of the most important parts of the sale. No matter if you have driven 1,000 of the same vehicle, they all drive slightly different! So it is important that you drive the vehicle as you would on a normal day to be sure it feels the way you were hoping it would in your day to day life! There is no set route for this drive so we can go around the block or see how it feels on your commute to the house or office. Whatever it is to make sure you are thrilled about the way this vehicle handles on the road!
5. Close the deal
The final step to the process is to buy/sell the vehicle together. We will sit down and see what payment, price, or terms work for you and make the deal happen! McCloskey Service Department Employees of the Year!
To end 2018 and start 2019 off strong, we had our annual company awards! Listed below are the winners of all our prestigious awards for our service and detail departments!
To start, we have the Service and Detail department’s top producers for 2018! First, we have Shaun Moore in the detail center with an outstanding 2,767.80 hours flagged last year! That is a lot of work which easily earned him the Detail Top Producer Award!
Next, for the McCloskey All Make Service Center, the Top Producer is Drew McIllwain! Drew is a very hard working and reliable shop foreman. He flagged an incredible 2,507.90 hours in 2018!
The Joe’s Car And Truck Repair Top Producer was awarded to Mike Warner for flagging 2,137.70 hours in 2018! Mike is a great tech and it shows in all the work he does! (He wasn’t able to attend the meeting)
The prestigious Company Wide Most Valuable Player Award was presented to Matt Brown for his amazing work at the Joe’s Car and Truck location! Matt is a great guy that makes our service department a better place!
